Latest Drill Core Assays Improve Continuity And Extend GWR Resources' "Aurizon" Copper-Gold Zone

May 21, 2008

GWR Resources Inc. (TSXV: GWQ) is pleased to announce assay results from four holes within its 2008 Aurizon Zone drill program, currently underway on its 100% owned Lac La Hache property, British Columbia.

The locations of these drill holes are indicated on a new Generalized Geology and Drill Hole Location map of the Aurizon Zone, now available on the Company’s website athttp://www.gwrresources.com/i/maps/aurizon_map_200805.gif. This map will be updated regularly as assays are received and new holes are drilled. Hole projections will be indicated, soon. In addition, the Company plans to add a tabulation of historical drill hole locations, orientations and assay results.

These latest assay results aid in the establishment of continuity of copper-gold within the southern portion of the central Aurizon Zone. In addition, Holes AZ08-58 and AZ08-62 further expand the Zone to the east by approximately 50 meters.

As reported previously, the central Aurizon Zone extends northerly for 400 meters where it has been offset approximately 60 meters to the east across a 075 degree trending fault. Drilling north of this fault has successfully intersected and continued the mineralized trend, which remains open. The geologically predicted southern end of the Zone has been confirmed by the last two holes in this phase of drilling (AZ08-92 and AZ08-93, assays pending), offset to the west approximately 60 meters across a second fault. The southern extension also remains open, in all directions. As planned, drilling on the Zone was temporarily suspended (see May 1, 2008 News Release) pending permitting for additional drilling.

Geological modelling of the Aurizon Zone is now underway to determine the best drill hole locations for in-fill, expansion, and to refine structural interpretation during the next phase of drilling on the Zone, for the purpose of resource estimation.

GWR remains excited about drilling results to date within the Aurizon Zone and will continue to release assay results on a regular basis as received, from the nearly 2 dozen holes for which assays are still pending.
