GWR Commences Drilling at Sainte Sabine Gold - Base Metal Project, Quebec

November 29, 2011

LAC LA HACHE, BRITISH COLUMBIA - GWR Resources Inc. (“GWR”) (TSX Venture: GWQ) is pleased to announce it has begun a 4,000 meter drill program on its Sainte-Sabine gold property located in the Bellechasse-Beauce region of southeastern Quebec.

The Company (www.gwrresources.com) has integrated historical geological, geochemical and geophysical information, new 2010 helicopterborne Magnetic-Electromagnetic-Spectrometric and 2011 field data, to target potential gold and base metal mineralization within prospective, relatively untested geological settings.

Encouraging anomalies occur within 3 formations of the Lower Magog group of sedimentary rocks (Frontiere, Etchemin, Beauceville). Limited historical drilling in these rocks intersected near surface or shallow depth gold mineralization. Although only partial sampling was completed on the historical drill holes, the few core samples that were analyzed returned gold assays up to 6.6 grams per tonne. GWR’s current drill program is to reconfirm the geology, some of the historical drill mineralized intersections and will test new areas defined by the recent exploration work. GWR has obtained the necessary landowner access and drilling permission agreements.

Early visual inspection from the first drill hole is positive, intersecting abundant quartz-carbonate veining with visible disseminated sulphides (pyrite, pyrrhotite, galena, chalcopyrite, sphalerite) which may contain non-visible precious metal concentrations. Please visit Company’s website www.gwrresources.com for the core photos of the first drill hole.

Drill core logging, processing and shipping is ongoing from the Company’s leased facility located in Sainte-Sabine, Quebec. Multielement lithogeochemical analyses will be completed on half the core, with results expected early in 2012. Complete sample processing for total gold content will subsequently be completed on the samples.

GWR is an active mineral exploration company currently exploring for gold and base metals on two properties within Canada. The Lac La Hache copper-gold porphyry/skarn project hosts multiple zones containing commercial grades of gold, copper, silver and magnetite. The project is located in British Columbia’s prolific Quesnel Trough between producing mines at Imperial Metals’ Mt. Polley Copper-Gold Mine and New Gold Inc.’s New Afton Copper Gold project (Teck-Cominco’s legendary Afton mine). The Lac La Hache project is well-served by rail, road and power infrastructure. The Sainte Sabine gold (+Ag, Zn, Cu) property is located within the Bellechasse Mineral Belt in southeastern Quebec, adjacent to known zones on Golden Hope Mines’ Bellechasse Project.
